The precious umbrella symbolizes the wholesome activity of preserving beings from illness, harmful forces, obstacles and so forth in this life and all kinds of temporary and enduring sufferings of the three lower realms, and the realms of human beings and gods in future lives. It also represents the enjoyment of a feast of benefit under its cool shade.
It is the great hope of KTC Jax to one day have a permanent location of our own where we can teach and practice dharma, always with a motivation to benefit countless sentient beings. This aspiration has become more urgent since KTC experienced, several weeks ago, a disastrous flooding incident of the building we have rented for 13 years. As a result, we have had to relocate to a temporary and much smaller space next door, where we continue to hold teachings and practice. We are now faced with paying for repair and restoration of our former, rented space, which belongs to our landlord, in order to safely reoccupy our Center. You can appreciate that the aspiration for a permanent location for our KTC, owned and maintained by us, has become ever more urgent.
To foster this vision and launch a more vigorous fundraising effort for our New Building Fund, KTC Jax will host our 2nd annual New Building Fund Benefit Dinner at Ani Karma Lhamo’s residence, to be held Friday, August 5th at 7:00 PM. Please join us for a wonderful vegan meal, and especially, to meet lifelong Tibetan monk and Vajra Master of Karme Ling Retreat, Lama Karma Drodhul, as our special guest. Lama Karma is known for his humor; his tender loving kindness towards all beings; his efforts to save the lives of animals; and an impressive knowledge in the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism.

Participants in our Benefit Dinner will be able to share company & conversation with this wonderful Lama of the Karma Kagyu tradition as well as enjoy delicious Vegan Vietnamese food to a background of sacred Tibetan music. “Pho Chay” will be the main dish served. Pho Chay is a popular, traditional Vietnamese rice noodle soup with vegetables and a unique, flavorful broth.

Registration for the Benefit Dinner is $20 per person ahead of time, or you can pay at the dinner. All proceeds go directly to KTC Jacksonville Tibetan Buddhist Mediation Center, a 501c3 approved charity, and specifically, towards acquiring a KTC owned building to house our Shrine and practice space. We are honored and delighted to welcome Lama Karma Drodhul, Retreat Master at Karme Ling Retreat Cetner, to Karma Thegsum Choling Jacksonville August 6-7, 2016. Lama Karma will be teaching on the profound healing practice of Medicine Buddha.

The Practice of Medicine Buddha, when undertaken with the heartfelt wish to benefit all beings and relieve them of suffering, is a meditative practice that is extremely effective in the removal of sickness, both physical and mental, and in bringing about balance. The practice of Medicine Buddha was taught by the Buddha himself in response to a request from his student Manjushri to teach a practice for those beings who have inner and outer sufferings, and who live in the midst of degenerate times. As taught by the head of our lineage, the Gyalwa Karmapa, some diseases can benefit from medicine, but some cannot. In some places there are hundreds of sick beings and very few doctors, so there can be little treatment. In these cases, Medicine Buddha practice can be dedicated to those suffering beings. The Medicine Buddha Sutra states that in the time when deadly new diseases appear and are hard to cure, the power of Medicine Buddha will become even stronger.During this two day retreat intensive, Lama Karma will also offer the Refuge Ceremony, the first step in connecting the mind of the student with the great Masters of our lineage, the first step in becoming Buddhist. Lama Karma will also be performing the Medicine Buddha Empowerment, which, along with refuge, is required to perform the Medicine Buddha practice. If one does not wish to practice the Medicine Buddha sadhana, receiving the empowerment is still a great blessing.
Of note: Due to the recent flooding event at KTC Jacksonville making our center currently unusable, the Medicine Buddha retreat will be held at Hai Duc Vietnamese Buddhist Temple, who have generously offered us their space. The schedule for the retreat is listed below.

Lama Karma Drodhul (pronounced “Drundul”) is the Venerable Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche’s nephew as well as his principal disciple and attendant. Lama Karma became a monk at age nine and received full ordination by age twenty from Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, at Thrangu Monastery in Kham, Tibet where Lama Karma grew up and trained. Lama Karma is known for having excelled in all aspects of dharma study and completed his education in just five years, whereas most students take 12 years. Thrangu Rinpoche then sent Lama Karma to the U. S. to deepen his understanding of the dharma under the guidance of Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche.

After coming to KTD Monastery in NY, in 2008 Lama Karma Drodhul accomplished two consecutive three-year, three-month retreats under Ven. Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche at Karme Ling Retreat Center. Lama Karma has since become the Drubpon (retreat master) at Karme Ling.
Lama Karma is known for his humor, light-hearted approach, and delightful presence; his tender loving kindness to all beings; his commitment to saving the lives of animals; and his wide-ranging and deep knowledge of the dharma. He is a very popular and valued teacher and has traveled the globe fulfilling unending invitations to teach at Buddhist centers across the world. We are fortunate to have him here with us at KTC Jax at the Hai Duc Temple.

〖三教九流大观：药师佛〗
药师佛即药师琉璃光如来，又称为大 王，按佛经所说，他是东方琉璃国王 教主。相传他在成佛时曾发下十二大 誓愿，愿除一切众生病苦，治无明痼 ，令一切众生身心安乐。据隋代达摩 多所译的《药师如来本愿功德经》所 说"佛告曼殊师利，东方去此十殑（音j lng）伽沙佛土，有世界名净琉璃，佛 药师璃璃光如来。……彼世尊药师琉 如来，本行菩萨道时，发十二大愿， 令诸有情所求皆得。"
据说信奉药师如来能够医治百病，解 各种顽疾苦痛，消灾延寿，因此我国 史上社会各阶层对药师如来的信仰很 盛。在许多寺院的大雄宝殿中，都供 代表东、西、中三方不同世界的三尊 像，其中释迦佛左边的就是代表东方 琉璃世界的药师琉璃光佛。还有的寺 设有专门供奉药师如来的药师堂。
关于药师如来的像，一般是结跏趺坐 左手持一药钵，右手执药丸。据《药 念诵仪轨》讲，药师佛"左手执药器 名无价珠，右手结定印，身披袈裟， 跏趺坐，安坐于莲花台上"。药师如 的胁侍菩萨，一般是日光菩萨和月光 萨。也有以观音、势至为其胁侍菩萨 的。此外也有以文殊师利、观音、势 、宝檀华、无尽意、药王、药上、弥 等为其侍者的。

财续佛母（Vasu-dhara），她另有财续母、财源天女、财 源佛母、宝源度母、持世天女、持世 萨、雨宝菩萨等不同名称。
天母本生愿力，以财施、法施、无畏 之“布施波罗蜜”为主，行者若能行 养、礼拜、依止，并修习持诵，当能 资财丰饶，不虞匮乏。但行者亦如天 愿力，广行布施，方能与天母相应成 。
据佛经中记载，在过去久远劫中，迦 佛住世时，此天母以殊胜布施功德， 生到三十三天。释迦佛在世时，财源 天母又从水中出生，名为“甘登拉摩 。也就是恒河天女，她又化现为二十 度母之一的宝源度母。
财续母仪轨导修开示---大藏寺祈竹仁宝哲
财续母的藏名为nor rgyun ma（注：汉译亦作“增禄天母”、“财 续佛母”及“财续天母”等），他是 位赐予财富的本尊，亦可说是珍巴拉 尊的女性版本（注：有关珍巴拉财尊 法门，见法师著作《本尊海会Ⅰ》）
财源天母，梵名：巴素达喇；藏名： 玛属，藏名译音：若君玛。又称财宝 母、财续佛母等，属密咒部作密，系 瑜珈密续佛部尊，于六道中专司人道 掌世间之财富，并为五路财神之佛母
现今的人，都以财富为首要，宁 要钱财而不要命。在古印度的佛教传 中，可不是这样的。在古印度，认真 的修行人都先修长寿本尊法，如白度 或无量寿佛等（注：有关无量寿佛延 法门，见法师著作《寿份无量》）； 次修增智慧法，例如妙音母或文殊法 等（注：有关文殊法门，见法师著作 本尊海会Ⅴ》）；在也成功地增长了 智慧后，他们便修财尊法门，例如财 母或珍巴拉法门等。古印度行者修延 法并非因为世俗的怕死之心，而是为 了确保自己有足够长的寿命以学法及 持。他们修财尊法，并非为了想发财 享乐，而是为了要有足够资财以作供 养、布施予苦难众生及作为修持之顺 。在印度中部佛陀或道圣地附近之古 度石雕上，可见到许多财尊形相，足 可见证古代行者对财尊法门之重视。
在佛教传统上，有不少欲增长智 的人依止妙音母以增智。妙音母是一 佛教及印度教共尊的本尊。修持妙音 母可迅速得长智慧，可是却会有贫乏 缘起。故此，凡修妙音母的人，必定 同时修财续母法门。妙音母与财续母 ，几乎可说是一种传统的组合法门。
财续母不只有一种化相。今天所 的，是一面二臂、黄色身相的财续母 财续母传承中有不少殊胜而奇妙的细 节可以传授，但由于在座的人未曾受 此尊之灌顶，衲若多说便有过失了。 此，今晚只传授一个比较适合普传的 、礼赞祈请文形式之极简化仪轨。这 的话，大家即使无灌顶传承亦可修诵 衲教授普遍的内容亦无过失。
前行开示
有关前行细节，衲已说过多次，在此 欲重复了，只特别提一提供品及动机 面的要求。
供品必须依事密部规矩而供素品 宜多供水果、牛奶及酸奶。此外，如 我们供奉了财续母之图片或身像，可 在其前放一个漂亮的瓶子，内盛世界 国的金币、银币或普通钱币，亦可放 宝石、金、银等财宝。这样供的话， 会有积聚财富的好缘起。
修此法前，我们必须生起好的动 ，心想：“我现祈求财续母赐予资财 以利益众生！”
然后，我们诵仪轨中的皈依发心 。
行者皈依直至成正觉 佛陀正法以及圣僧众
因作布施等诸修持故 愿证佛境利普有情生
或念诵：
诸佛尊法贤圣三宝尊。从今直至菩提 皈依。
我以所修施等诸资粮。为利有情故愿 觉成。）
我们应诵这个偈文三次或更多次
正行开示
在未诵仪轨中的礼赞文前，我们 须先观出本尊在自己面前虚空中。
财续母身相黄色，一面二臂，右 作与度母一样的施愿印，此印代表赐 、施护及加持；其左手持一个上插一 株嘉禾的宝瓶；他穿着华丽的衣服， 戴多种宝饰，双足跏趺而坐于莲心月 上，相貌十分年青美丽。
观出本尊后，我们便诵仪轨中的 句礼赞文。
过去累积海般布施善 证得寿命财富及威德
于行持者降下珍宝雨 增禄德母予汝我礼敬
这四句的意思是“您在无数过往 中，积了如大海般无边的布施功德， 您有赐予财富及长寿之能力。我礼赞 您，求您加持我！”
在观好本尊及诵礼赞后，我们便 咒。

在持咒若干遍之同时，我们观想 尊左手之瓶放黄色光芒，照向十方， 宇宙中所有财富之精华、所有君王及 财主的财富之精华、八大龙王所拥财 之精华及非人族类之财富精华全摄入 中。上述的财富精华，我们观为七宝 及八吉祥形相。这些财富精华被摄入 瓶后，瓶便掉出金、银、宝石等财宝 堆满在我们身边，亦堆满了我们的房 子。如上所观，我们同时持咒若干遍
结行开示
在持咒后，我们诵仪轨中的四句 向文。
以此功德愿速能 成就增禄天母境
并将一切诸众生 安立于同等果境

【走入人道世間的大菩薩】
準提菩薩漢譯有準胝觀音、準提佛母 七俱胝佛母等名。準提菩薩為顯密佛 徒所知的大菩薩，在禪宗，則稱之為 天人丈夫觀音。在中國佛教徒的心目 ，準提菩薩是一位感應甚強、對崇敬 至為關懷的大菩薩，更是三世諸佛之 母，他的福德智慧無量，功德廣大、 應至深，滿足眾生世間、出世間的願 ，無微不至的守護眾生。在《準提陀 羅尼經》中記載，佛陀為了愍念未來 薄福惡業眾生，所以入於準提三摩地 宣說過去七俱胝佛所說的準提咒。

**長咒的前部分其實是禮贊句，後部分 便是咒。大家喜歡念哪個版本都可以 二者是完全同一支傳承。
【準提咒的廣大威德力】
有如在《准提陀羅尼經》中記載，佛 為了悲念末來的薄福惡業眾生，所以 於準提三摩地，宣說過去七俱胝 (千萬)佛所說的準提咒。而《準提咒》 的修學並沒有限制，是不分任何身分 ，都可以修學誦持的。準提咒廣為中 、日本的佛教信徒所持誦，其咒語功 德威力不可思議，在很多經典中也都 記載準提咒的廣大功德，以下略舉經 數則記載以供參考。
《七俱胝佛母準提大陀羅尼經》的記
誦持準提陀羅尼能得到光明觸照，所 罪障，盡皆消滅，壽命延長，福德智 增進，並得諸佛的庇護，生生世世遠 離諸惡趣，迅速證得無上菩提的佛果
《七佛俱胝佛母心大準提陀羅尼法》 記載
準提咒印能夠滅除十惡、五逆、一切 罪，成就一切白法（善業），具戒清 ，速得菩提。若在家人縱然不斷酒肉 、妻子，但依法修持，無不成就。
《七俱胝佛母所說陀羅尼經》的記載
若有修持真言的出家、在家菩薩，誦 此陀羅尼滿九十萬遍，無量劫來所造 十惡、四重、五無間罪，悉皆消滅; 生之處，常遇諸佛菩薩，豐饒財寶， 得出家。
若是在家菩薩，修持戒行，堅固不退 誦此陀羅尼常生天道或於人間常作國 ，不在惡道；親近賢聖，諸天愛敬， 擁護加持。若管世務，無諸災橫，儀 端正，言音威肅，心無憂惱。
若出家菩薩具諸禁戒，三時念誦，依 修行，現生所求出世間成就，定慧現 ，證地波羅蜜，圓滿疾證無上正等菩 提。
《佛說七俱胝佛母準提大明陀羅尼經 的記載
佛為愍念未來諸眾生的緣故，宣說過 七俱胝準提如來等，佛母準提陀羅尼 若有四眾受持此咒，滿九十萬遍，無 量劫來，五無間等一切諸罪，悉皆滅 無餘，所在生處，皆得值遇諸佛;所有 資具，隨意充足，速得成就無上菩提
若有持誦此陀羅尼者，乃至未坐道場 一切菩薩為其勝友，又此準提大明陀 尼乃諸佛菩薩所說，為利益一切眾生 ，無邊菩提道場之故。若有薄福眾生 無有少善根者，無有根器之者，無有 提分者，是人若得聞此準提大明陀羅 尼，若讀一遍，即得菩提分，根器芽 ，何況誦持常不懈廢。由此善根得以 成佛種，無量功德，皆悉成就，無量 眾生，遠離塵垢，決定成就阿耨多羅 藐三菩提。
《顯密圓通成佛心要集》的記載
準提咒能夠滅除五逆、十惡、一切罪 ，成就一切殊勝白法的功德。誦持此 者，不論在家或出家，只要專一心志 持誦，能使短命的眾生延年益壽，如 摩羅疾此等重病都可以除差，何況其 的病症。
假若誦滿四十九日，準提菩薩令二聖 ，常跟隨此人，所有善心惡心的念頭 都會於耳邊一一具報。若有無福之人 、求取官職不順利；或有人為貧苦所 迫，常誦此咒，能令其今生得如轉輪 王的福德，所求所願必得稱心。
若求取智慧，得大智慧;求男女者，使 男女。凡有所求，無不稱遂其心意， 就像隨色摩尼寶珠，一切色隨著心意 改變。 又持誦此咒，能令國王大臣及諸四眾 生起愛敬心，凡有見者即感到歡喜。 持此咒的人，遇水不能溺、遇火不能 焚燒、毒藥怨家、軍陣強賊，及惡龍 諸鬼魅等，皆不能危害。
若欲請梵王、帝釋、四天王、閻羅天 等，只要誦持此咒，必然隨其心願而 ，所有驅使，隨心皆得。此咒於南瞻 部洲有大威勢力，能移須爾山，竭盡 海水，以咒加持乾枯木，能生花果， 況更能依法持誦，不轉肉身，得大神 足，往生兜率天。
若求長生不老及諸眾仙藥，但依法誦 ，即得見觀世音菩薩，或金剛手菩薩 與神仙妙藥，隨取食之，即成仙道， 獲得齊於日月的壽命，證得菩薩位。 依法誦滿一百萬遍，便得往生十方淨 ，歷事諸佛，普聞妙法，得證菩提。
【根本消業改運在準提】
在歷代的流傳公案故事中，其中以明 「袁了凡」的「了凡四訓」。「了凡 訓」中所傳授的改運方法，是非常的 有階段性、步驟性和理念的，尤其其 有提到了「準提咒」的修持，來幫助 能確實的心想事成， 當初雲谷禪師在傳授袁了凡如何改運 道時，有兩個很重要的方法：
一是「做三千件善事」、「改過檢討 己」、「謙虛持德」。
二是「教他持誦準提咒」。
使袁了凡徹底改變了他原有的命運， 本只能活52歲，當一個小縣官，也沒 子嗣。結果，改運後卻活到了74歲， 到了高官，甚至也生了一個兒子，而 的兒子也很賢能的考上進士，繼續光 耀家風。

認識準提菩薩
準提菩薩漢譯有準胝觀音、準提佛母 七俱胝佛母等名。準提菩薩為顯密佛 徒所知的大菩薩，在禪宗，則稱之為 天人丈夫觀音。
在中國佛教徒的心目中，準提菩薩是 位感應甚強、對崇敬者至為關懷的大 薩，更是三世諸佛之母，他的福德智 慧無量，功德廣大、感應至深，滿足 生世間、出世間的願望，無微不至的 護眾生。在《準提陀羅尼經》中記載 ，佛陀為了愍念未來的薄福惡業眾生 所以入於準提三摩地，宣說過去七俱 佛所說的準提咒。
《準提咒》被收入早晚課的十小咒中 是佛教徒每日必誦的咒語；同時也被 入《二時臨齋儀》裡，於佛教寺院早 午二時過堂用齋時所用。
稱為神咒之王的準提神咒，其加持威 不可思議，他的感應甚為疾速與強大 持誦者可祈求聰明智慧，辯論勝利、 夫婦相互敬愛、使他人生起敬愛、增 人際關係、求得子嗣、延長壽命、治 疾病、滅除罪業、祈求降雨、脫離拘 禁以及遠離惡鬼、惡賊之難等等，種 的祈願，無不滿足。
修學準提咒並沒有任何限制，不分任 身分者，都可以修學誦持的，依此也 看出準提菩薩的慈悲。
修持準提法門的感應事蹟
（一）奉持準提咒而屢蒙庇佑
明末有一位項蘭齋（俊卿），父親名 項忠，兒子名為項謙，三代共同仕臣 朝廷，同時也是虔誠持誦準提咒的世 家。項忠自幼時就開始奉持準提咒， 心不曾退轉。隨著軍隊征戰討伐各地 每每蒙受準提善薩的庇佑。
項蘭齋言至大金吾，曾刊行《準提儀 》、鑄造準提鏡施予諸多信眾，也曾 墮水不濡，遇寇辟易。」到第三代的 項謙，官至閩漳別駕。其人一生也有 次蒙受準提菩薩庇佑的經驗。
在李自成軍隊即將攻入北京的前幾天 項謙「夜夜夢見山石崩飛，潛身無地 聞空中語曰：『但持我咒，爾難可免 ！』」不久，果然李自成軍隊攻陷北 。項謙率家丁巷戰，「銛矛刺胸，衣 受損。徒步奔南，屢遇暴，不能害己 。」（為了感念準提菩薩的庇佑，項 曾印行《佛母準提焚修悉地懺悔玄文 一書，以分贈有緣，並藉以弘揚準提 法門的殊勝。）
（二）持準提咒改變宿命
中國歷史上有不少以佛法解決命運問 的故事或著作，最為人熟知的可能是 了凡四訓》。該書是明末袁了凡依自 己改變命運的親身經歷而撰。袁了凡 一位因持誦準提咒而改變一生的佛教 ，在《了凡四訓》中的《立命之學》 ，記載了他持誦準提咒的因緣。
袁了凡被一位神相算命，而他的命運 乎也應驗了神相所預言的一切，而當 隨學雲谷禪師，而得致準提咒持誦咒 ，他的命運就悄然的改變了。
雲谷禪師傳授了凡居士準提咒持誦法 禪師並告訴他：「……但能持準提咒 無記無數，不令間斷，持得純熟。於 持中不持，於不持中持，到得念頭不 ，則靈驗矣。」
此外，當他自持咒之日開始，他的內 不再像住日「悠悠放任」，而是「到 自有戰兢惕厲景象，在暗堂屋漏中， 常恐得罪天地鬼神。迢人憎我毀我， 能怡然容受。」
而且，他從此之後不斷地行善。而且 往以行善三千件，一萬件的數量來自 。因此，袁了凡突破了皇極神算所預 言的命運，力行「改過、積善、謙德 之法，並持誦《準提咒》，結果改變 命運，讓往後自己的生命歷程適得比 原先預測的還要好。
（三）觀音菩薩與準提佛母之感應
引古代大德實例一：
明朝吳郡地方有位姓徐名叫明甫的人 素來供奉觀音大士，其心虔誠且禮拜 敬，他的兒子單名廣，十幾歲的時候 ，忽然得了重病，夫妻兩人便在大士 薩像前早晚不停地叩頭祈禱，到了第 天的夜晚，夢見觀世音菩薩告訴他們 說：「你們不要憂愁，你們的孩子朋 早晨就可以起來了。」
忽然聽到桌子上有聲音震動，起來看 供在大士桌案前面的果盤等器具，都 落在地上，拿起來檢查，卻沒有一件 損壞的，這時突然聽見他們的兒子喃 的叫喚著說：「菩薩救我！菩薩救我 」
於是夫婦兩搖醒兒子，問他在說什麼 但他不回答，直到天亮他的兒子說： 昨晚半夜，正當昏憒，氣要斷絕時， 看見大士到床前叫醒他說：『我來救 。』並以水一杯給他喝。」冰涼的水 涼得徹骨，於是全身冒出汗，而後覺 得清涼爽快，不幾天，病果然好了。
引古代大德實例二：
明朝崇禎辛巳年間，當塗縣官署前， 一個山東癱子來行乞，平日以手代腳 走，人人都討厭他，因此癱子常受氣 ，有一回，聽說塘橋庵有位名叫水谷 和尚修行非常的好，他便去找他，並 乞食的情形告訴他，水谷和尚對他說 ：「你若能夠發願出家，仗著菩薩慈 大力，或許會有施主來救濟你。」
癱子遵從水谷的意思，剃髮受齋戒， 然依舊行乞，但不茹葷血，縱然仍被 罵，但已能安然忍受。水谷又教導他 持念觀世音菩薩名號，並持「準提咒 。待受持兩年後的戊子秋天，癱子忽 夢見一老婆婆呼喚著對他說：「你起 來，你起來！」
癱子答道：「我是個癱子，哪能夠起 ？」
老婆婆以手扯他的兩腳，他的腳竟能 直而不彎曲。
早晨起來，癱病就此痊癒，癱子居然 成一個昂藏的和尚，取名叫下崖，後 就有人供養他了。
（四）有關準提佛母咒及信心的歷史 事
在印度古代有一個極為有名氣的佛教 學，它的名字是那蘭陀大學（梵名Nala nda），位於印度中部菩提伽耶佛陀成 處並不太遠的地方。
在當年，曾經有一次，在大學附近地 連續兩年有旱災、瘟疫及饑荒，以致 不聊生。有一戶人家中的母親是專門 供養準提佛母的，而且極為虔誠，但 持咒時發音卻是錯誤的。
別人發現這女人即使在饑荒中，仍然 容飽滿健壯，便好奇地問她有什麼原 。原來老婦在持準提咒特，由於信心 極大，石頭竟然會變為能充饑的食品
當時有人在驚歎之餘亦指出了老婦持 的發音錯得厲害。在這以後，老婦在 咒時，變得有疑心，不再有本來的真 心、信心及誠心，石頭也就不變為食 了。
再後來，老婦又想：「反正我也念了 麼多年了，別人說什麼，就不理啦！ 她的持咒功夫又再變為純熟的信心， 又再恢復了能將石頭變為食物的奇蹟 還用這些食物救濟了許多當地居民。
由此著名的史事，我們便明白信心的 要。在修持上，即使輕微的疑心及動 ，也會造成障礙。故事中的這老婦人 ，發音雖不對，但憑著信心，便頗見 驗。

準提咒的中文拼音及現代漢語注音
現根據《中華佛教百科全書》（電子 ）和《漢梵、梵漢陀羅尼用語用句辭 》（作者Robert Heineman(德國)，台灣華宇出版社，1985年 ）兩部著作對準提咒分別以中文拼音 現代漢語進行了注音，其中中文拼音 音調均為一聲，同時對真言的句義進 行了簡要的說明。
(1)南無颯哆喃
梵文：namo-saptanam
中文拼音注音：na-mo-sa-da-nan
現代漢語注音：拿摩薩達南
註釋：‘南無’意為‘歸命’，‘颯 喃’意為數字‘七’。
（2）三藐三菩馱
梵文：Samyaksambuddha
中文拼音注音：san-mia-san-bu-da
現代漢語注音：三（米阿）三布達
註釋：‘米阿’兩字連讀成一個音節
‘三藐三菩馱’意為‘佛’、‘無上 者’。
（3）俱胝南
梵文：kotinam
中文拼音注音：gou-di-nan
現代漢語注音：勾地南
註釋：‘俱胝南’意為‘無上’。
‘南無颯哆喃三藐三菩馱俱胝南’句 為‘皈命七俱胝佛母’。

簡易漢文音譯：南無 飒普塔南 三藐客三菩達 柯地南 塌地牙踏 唵 佳雷 主雷 諄爹 刷哈
(1)歸敬文：
歸敬文這一段的意思是：歸命七俱胝( 萬)正等覺者，或向七千萬正等覺禮 。其中南無（namah）是禮敬、歸命之 ；飒多喃（saptanam）來自 sapta，是數字七的意思；三藐三菩陀(sa myaksambudda)是正等覺或正等正覺者；koti nam來自koti，是一千萬的意思，但傳統 常譯為億。對懂得羅馬拼音的人而言 ，sap不難，但在漢字的拼音中，我用 飒普」下加線，來表示二合音。同樣 ， myak我也采用「三藐客」下加線的方式 表示漢音。
(2)即說咒曰：
看到任何咒語，最好先找出「怛侄他(t adyatha)」這一句。因本句是咒語內容的 重要分水嶺，其前是歸敬文，其後為 語的中心內容。此句在《往生咒》中 譯為「怛地夜他」，在玄奘漢譯的《 心經》中意譯成「即說咒曰」。
(3)咒語中心：
有人將折隸(cale)、主隸(cale)、准提(cund e)解釋為「覺動，起升，清淨」，或「 游行尊、頂髻尊、清淨尊」。我自己 得它只是一段特殊的音而已，可能無 字的字面意義。
此處請注意梵文的「c」，不要念成「k 」，如can中的「c」；而應念成注音符 的「ㄐ」，或類似英文China中的「ch 。
我主張用梵文的羅馬拼音念咒，因為 比漢音更接近原音，也許會讓持咒的 果更好。因此，舊譯准提，我在標題 也是這麼用，但在咒語的音譯上，我 用「諄爹」，准提是佛母，就好像是 諄」諄教誨我們的「爹」地（dady） 樣。
(4)結尾：
娑婆诃（svaha）是咒語常見的結尾語， 意為吉祥、圓滿。印順導師說：「『 婆诃』這一句，類似耶教禱詞中的『 門』，道教咒語中的『如律令』。」 這應是向現代人解釋「娑婆诃」時， 簡單且明了的說法。
以上(3)、(4)合起來是《准提心咒》， 於時間不多的人，只持此心咒即可。

咒語的核心
所謂「心咒」指的是「咒語的核心」 在現代繁忙的工商社會裡，面對數量 人的種種信息，修行人每日可用來持 咒語修行的時間極為有限；頌持簡短 心咒，應該是現今修行的最佳方法。
事實上，雖然咒語亦求取終極解脫， 一般說咒語求取現世利益會比來世利 多。照密教行者的說法，持一遍心咒 之功德，與持一遍完整的咒語，乃至 一遍完整的述說該咒語來源與功效等 經典，其功德相同。以大悲咒為例， 可說持一次大悲咒的心咒，與持一遍 十四句根本咒型的大悲咒，乃至誦一 大悲心陀羅尼經，其功德都是相同的 。

8th Day Medicine Buddha Sadhana
On the 8th day of each lunar month, we offer the Namchos Medicine Buddha sadhana, a short Parnashawari/Loma Gyonma sadhana, and Thangtong Gyalpo's famous prayer to end illness and disease.
The Medicine Buddha sadhana we practice is from Mingyur Dorje's Namcho/Sky Dharma cycle of terma. It is a union of both the Sutra and Tantra.
Parnashawari is one of the 21 Taras. She is especially effective for curing disease. She is also the patron Deity of herbal medicine in Tibetan Buddhism. The Parnashawari practice we do comes from Lama Dawa Chodrak.
Thangtong Gyalpo was a great, 15th century Buddhist yogi, physician, blacksmith, architect, and pioneering civil engineer. He is considered a mind emanation of Guru Rinpoche and a reincarnation of Dolpopa Sherab Gyaltshen. Thangtong Gyalpo spoke this prayer in the midst of an epidemic and the epidemic ended.
If the 8th day falls on a weekday, practice is from 6:30 to 8 or 8:30 PM. If it falls on a weekend, it is from 4:30 to 6 or 6:30 PM.

Medicine Buddha
The reason of this post is to understand better the aspect of healing from the buddhist tradition point of view in association with reiki.
The medicine buddha is an aspect of the historical buddha Shakyamuni, and therefore a symbol. As we all know we use symbols on reiki for the purpose of healing, is there in fact a possibility of enhancing our healing process channeling this aspect of energy?. Reki symbols have different qualities. Perhaps this symbols could also share, some new possibilities. Perhaps some buddhas could also help in the healing process?.

A Tibetan Buddhist uses a mala for almost all practices. Malas are counters, like rosaries, that keep track of the number of mantras chanted or prayers recited. They can be made with any kind of bead – wood or seed or semi-precious gems like jade. Some stones and seeds have particular meanings: Crystal is often used for the practice of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Chenrezig (Sanskrit: Avalokiteshvara) who holds a crystal mala; lapis lazuli is the color of Medicine Buddha and often used for that practice; green jade or emerald is the color of one of the Taras; and, white pearls or crystal, symbolizing purity, can be used for the Vajrasattva purification practice.
Tibetan malas have 111 beads but if the practitioner has chanted one mantra for every 111 beads, only 100 of those are counted. The extra 10 are done in case of any mistakes made in chanting the 100 and an extra 1 in case a mistake was made in chanting those last 10. So, an extra 10% are done and each malas includes three extra beads more than the usual 108.
These malas were designed and handmade by Lama Karma Chötso, the Resident Teacher of Kagyu Shedrup Chöling, a Center for the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism in Miami, Florida. They are truly one of a kind as she has no intention of ever making another exactly the same (and never has). Lama chants mantras while making the malas and further blesses them in a ceremony when they are finished.

When Lama Zopa Rinpoche heard about the June 12 attack on a nightclub in Orlando, Florida, USA, which resulted in the tragic deaths of 50 people and injuries to at least 50 more, he began offering prayers immediately.

Lama Zopa Rinpoche always advises to make strong prayers to Medicine Buddha for anyone who is dying, sick, injured or has already passed away. These prayers can also be dedicated to anyone who needs protection, support, strength and love.

《千光眼观自在菩萨秘密法经》所载 “若欲消除身上众病者，当修杨柳枝 法。其药王观自在像，相好庄严如前 所说。唯右手执杨柳枝。左手当左乳 显掌。（T-20, No：1065, p.122b）”
可见若想使用观音系统的咒语治病， 千手观音的大悲咒外，最有效的应该 求助于杨柳观音，因为祂不只是药王 观自在，也是掌理治愈病苦的医药的 王菩萨。
