大寶法王心咒 ─ 噶瑪巴千諾
第十七世大寶法王噶瑪巴開示：
『噶瑪巴』不只是戴黑寶冠的那位噶 巴，『噶瑪巴』所代表的是十方一切 佛事業者，所以『噶瑪巴』是一切諸 佛菩薩的稱號。持誦『噶瑪巴千諾』 是向十方諸佛菩薩的祈請。

旅居德国的藏人艺术家Puntsok Tsering ，为支持嘉瓦噶玛巴，用藏文书写噶 巴心咒——
ཀརྨ་པ་མཁྱེན་ནོ།།
（噶玛巴千诺，karmapa khenno）
意为遍知一切的噶玛巴，请护念我。
和藏传佛教中所有心咒一样，噶玛巴 咒为广大信徒普遍诵持，坚信只要有 烈的虔敬心与上师相应，心咒中所表 达的愿望定会实现。
在藏东康地南部稻城（今四川省甘孜 稻城县），
有一座美丽的寺院——崩坡寺（又写 蚌普寺”）。
为第一世噶玛巴——都松钦巴创建， 有八百多年的历史。
1950年代及“文革”的劫难，使得这座 院就像藏地六千多座寺院一样，被夷 为平地。
如今的规模是近三十年慢慢重建。
2006年，我又去崩坡寺，见到寺院后面 山顶上出现醒目的藏文字体——
ཀརྨ་པ་མཁྱེན་ནོ།།
这是噶玛巴心咒：噶玛巴千诺。
崩坡寺的喇嘛告诉我，寺院僧侣与邻 乡村的信众，心怀对十七世嘉瓦噶玛 的思念，历时数月，在山顶上，用白 石头垒出巨大的噶玛巴心咒。
其实，此山很高，所以从山下看去， 乎并不显得巨大，但真实的形貌，堪 藏地之最。尤其是，从很远的环山公 路上平视望去，反倒比山脚下看得更 楚，更震撼。
表达的是藏人信众对嘉瓦噶玛巴的信 、信念与信仰。
可惜我当时专门给噶玛巴心咒拍摄的 片，藏在不计其数的图片之中，已找 不见。
只找到几张以其为背景的照片，远远 示不出其势。

噶玛巴千诺

“噶玛巴”是大宝法王噶玛巴圣号。 噶玛”是印度的梵文，藏语译为“赤 ”，汉语译作“羯摩”，即“事业” 的意思。藏语“巴”，是“圣者”的 思，是对大成就者的称呼。“噶玛巴 即是“行佛陀事业的圣者”，亦代表 十方三世诸佛事业的化现。“千诺” 意思是“知道，明白。”「噶玛巴千 」 (Karmapa Chenno)整句咒语的大意为：“大宝法王 玛巴！您遍知我的心。您知道我心中 的痛苦。您知道我心中的哀伤。请您 悯我，请您慈悲我。请您看护我，请 救助我。恳请您不要遗忘我，恳请您 不要舍弃我。请您帮助我。”

“噶玛巴千诺”是噶玛噶举派很 要的一个咒语。如同观音、文殊等菩 有其各自的心咒一样，“噶玛巴千诺 ”是历代噶玛巴的心咒。尤其在修噶 派不共前行的“上师相应法”时，主 就是持诵此咒。

「噶玛巴(行佛陀事业者)，您知道 我的心，您了解我心中的痛苦、哀伤 请您怜悯我、慈悲我，请您庇佑我、 助我，请您勿忘我、勿舍我！」
【关于大宝法王噶玛巴的预言与 记】
喀什米尔的佛学大师，也是曾被 到西藏为僧团建立一个新戒律传承的 迦师利，公开指出杜松虔巴就是释迦 牟尼佛在‘三摩地王经’中所授记的 具佛行事业的人’，又称为‘噶玛巴 。
察巴噶举的创始祖师‘祥喇嘛’ 确认了这样的说法。他说杜松虔巴是 表一切诸佛慈悲之本质的观音菩萨的 化现，并将于未来成佛，名狮子吼如 。印度的菩提迦耶寺住持曾供养了祖 寺一只大法螺做为礼物，以示对杜松 虔巴在佛法上的证量表示感佩。

佛经对噶玛巴的授记
释迦牟尼佛:‘我圆寂二千年后， 法将流传至红脸民族的国土……当智 慧和善业逐渐从这地区消失时，狮子 菩萨的化身，名噶玛巴者将会出现。 过他的证悟能力，他将广弘佛法和普 度有情。不论是谁，只要能目睹，耳 ，手触或思念他，将会被领导至和平 境界’。
‘Towo Namgya Barwaydolle tantra密续’里，佛曾预言一位名为噶 巴，将现身世间，他具有极殊胜的功 及利益众生的大力。
‘文殊根本续’中，断言将有一 能发扬佛的法教之士，降世为人，其 以‘噶’之音为开始，以‘玛’字之 音为终结。
‘Pemakarpo的法教’中预言
将会有一位名叫奥巴萨卡嘉华宝 (Opasaka Gyawa Pelwa,‘增善者’)出世，他具大神通、 慧及吸引力，能利益一切众生，不管 是上界众生，还是一般的在家人。奥 萨卡嘉华宝瓦也传圣教，令无数众生 行正法之善道，而且不仅奉行，还能 因受其加持与慈悲而圆满成此道。这 是名为奥巴萨卡嘉华宝瓦之人所有的 质。
‘集经论’中说，在一亿国土中 将有一亿噶玛巴转世，正如莲花生大 的预言一样。
‘白莲花经’(贝玛嘎波)中，预言 将有一位名叫嘉华佩瓦居士的出世,他 有大神通,智慧及摄受力，能益一切 生，不管是上界众生，还是一般的在 人。嘉华佩瓦居士也传圣教，以及令 无量众生奉行正法之善道。众生不仅 行，还能因受其慈悲加持而圆成此道 这就是嘉华佩瓦居士的所有功德。如 是观之，嘉华佩瓦居士能令无数上界 生及一般凡夫获得解脱。非但如此， 言还说他会令当时衰微的佛法安定下 来。由于他的慈悲，佛法得以稳固， 使佛法在住世利生的期间因而延长许 。
‘DoLang Kar Shekpa的显经’
有一位弟子问佛未来戴黑宝冠者 谁，以及此人将于何土利益众生时。
佛的答覆是，北方将有一位名‘ 华贝吉祥佛尊’的具大能力及智慧者 他在未来将以杜松虔巴之名转世。当 弟子续问噶玛巴将转世几次，以及噶 巴的法教将住世多久时，佛说噶玛巴 以持比丘具足戒的身份转世十三次， 并于未来千佛时期不断转世，而且预 噶玛巴的佛行及化现将永无休止。
弟子又问噶玛巴将以何种方式利 众生，佛回答他们说,对那些有因缘遇 见噶玛巴的人而言，见这一面就能为 们净除前七世的障碍。
‘Jampal Tsagyu的密续’断言
将有一位能发扬胜利者法教之士 降世为人，其名以‘噶’音始，以‘ ’音终。该经还预言，由于噶玛巴的 殊胜品性，众生只要听到他、看到他 想到他，即能获得解脱。
莲花生大士岩藏预言曾说
‘实践观世音菩萨之善行，具足 畏行为的密咒瑜珈士，赋有圣者噶玛 之名者，将横越整个大地.他以善巧 便及大悲心，调伏有情和护佑他们’
依据莲花生大士的21位大宝法王预 言，预言注明了每一位法王的名称， 要事件与功德。以十七世大宝法王为 ，莲花生大士即预言大宝法王将和泰 锡杜仁波伽在一起。并且预言十七世 王的功德将直追获得‘大宝法王’尊 的第五世法王。

发菩提心往生净土
只要是发大菩提心的人，一心持 “噶玛巴钦诺”，即可消除业障、增 功德，可以往生西方极乐世界。
西藏过去有一位竹巴噶举派的圣 ，名叫竹巴功吕，他的神通是威震雪 的。时至今日，各教派都有关于他的 戏剧性的传说。起初，他对噶玛巴没 起恭敬心，还取笑唱“噶玛巴钦诺” 人，他以神通到了极乐世界，看到所 有的持明者和众空行都在念“噶玛巴 诺”，其中有很多他熟识的持明者， 就问：“你们怎么来的”？他们说： “我们都是念“噶玛巴钦诺”来的” 于是，他发大忏悔心，回来在噶玛巴 前忏悔，并在雪域开始念诵“噶玛巴 钦诺”，并传诵噶玛巴圣号，弘扬佛 ，利益众生。

噶玛巴第一世，名却吉喇嘛，依 冈波巴大师修嘎举派“大手印”，以 臂观音为本尊，即生成就圆满正觉， 能遍知过去、现在、未来三世，人称 知三世者”，藏语——“杜松钦巴” 他证悟的功德震动三千大千世界，十 万空行母用头发编织成一顶金刚黑宝 献给他（有一定证悟的人才能看到） 印度大成就者萨迦师利证实他即是世 尊释迦牟尼佛在《三摩地王经》中授 的噶玛巴，当时西藏的诸大成就者都 认杜松钦巴即是噶玛巴。噶玛巴创建 活佛转世制度，使佛陀的教法毫不间 地传承下来，使佛陀的弘法利生事业 断发扬光大。后来，宁玛、萨迦、格 鲁和苯波等教派都采用了活佛转世制 。
第二世噶玛巴，证得与莲花生大 无二无别的功德，与莲师一样具足神 。他将噶玛巴的佛行事业不断扩大， 奠定了嘎举派的基础。他成为蒙古王 国师，获“噶玛巴希”的称号。蒙哥 献给他一顶金边黑帽，和一颗金印。 噶玛巴希讲经传法时常戴着此一黑帽 黑帽即成为噶玛巴的象征。
第五世噶玛巴应明朝永乐皇帝之 到京都为太后作超荐法事，永乐皇帝 噶玛巴的功德所摄，成为噶玛巴的入 室弟子，并封噶玛巴为“万行具足十 最胜圆觉妙智善应佑国演教如来大宝 王西天大善自在佛，领天下释教”， “大宝法王”这一封号，即成为噶玛 的专有称号，一直沿袭至今。永乐皇 在接受灌顶时，看到了噶玛巴头上的 金刚黑宝冠，即令工匠如其所见制作 一顶黑宝冠献给噶玛巴。此后，噶玛 举行大法会就戴此金刚黑宝冠，金刚 黑宝冠即成为噶玛巴的精神象征。参 噶玛巴金刚宝冠大法会的人，如果善 成熟，可当下开悟成佛，一般信士， 也能增长觉悟，可保七世不堕恶道。
藏传佛教各教派、汉传大小乘佛 ，乃至世界各国各民族的佛教信仰者 信仰大宝法王噶玛巴。莲花生大师曾 经预言：铁马奔驰、铁鸟升空的时代 是金刚乘佛法解除人类深重烦恼痛苦 时代，噶玛巴是这一时代的精神领袖 。
噶玛巴是西方极乐世界阿弥陀佛 “身”、观世音菩萨“语”和大势至 萨（金刚手菩萨）“意”的化现，是 第二佛陀莲花生大师的“身、口、意 的总集化现。噶玛巴具足阿弥陀佛的 愿，具足观音菩萨的悲心，具足大势 至菩萨的威猛。“噶玛巴钦诺”五字 号，是总括过去、现在、未来一切行 陀事业者功德的圣号。当今住世的大 宝法王噶玛巴乌金赤列多杰，是“噶 巴钦诺”圣号的“加持之主”，他时 刻刻都以无尽的悲心加持尽虚空遍法 界的众生，无论是谁，只要对大宝法 噶玛巴有信心，诚心持念噶玛巴圣号 均能得到加持。信佛的、不信佛的， 信各种宗教的和不信宗教的，噶玛巴 发愿加持他们。只要是发大菩提心的 ，一心持念“噶玛巴钦诺”，即可消 除业障、增长功德，可以往生西方极 世界。

五世嘉瓦喇嘛时期，因雪域众生 共业，世俗间贪图名闻利养的人，为 争夺政权，在黄教和白教两个教派之 间挑起斗争，拆毁了很多白教的寺院 强迫很多白教信仰者改信黄教。在强 改教的过程中，有很多人因造恶的缘 故堕入了地狱。晚年的五世嘉瓦喇嘛 布达拉宫修观音法，念诵六字大明咒 超度这些亡灵，忏悔罪业。这时观音 菩萨显圣，对五世嘉瓦喇嘛说：你只 念诵“噶玛巴钦诺”，举行大型的念 “噶玛巴钦诺”的法事，才能度脱所 有这些人。五世嘉瓦喇嘛是一位登地 菩萨，为了替众生忏悔、消业，在布 拉宫法闭关密修，持念“噶玛巴钦诺 ”，使很多堕落了的人得到了超度。
在人类出现各种灾难的时候，只 诚心念诵“噶玛巴钦诺”，都可以得 无比的加持。历史上各个朝代，“噶 玛巴钦诺”有着极其重要的地位。元 的忽必列皇帝曾多次举行“噶玛巴钦 ”的法事活动。清朝顺治皇帝支持在 藏区强迫教派改宗，造下了很重的恶 。康熙皇帝为了替父亲忏悔罪业，他 行大型的“噶玛巴钦诺”法会。抗日 战争期间，国民政府在南京和重庆等 地举行大型的“噶玛巴钦诺”的法事 来平息战争，超荐亡灵。大宝法王圣 号“噶玛巴钦诺”，是非常灵验的。 们只要一心一意、一心不乱地悲呼、 求、祈请噶玛巴，从自己心里深切升 起恭敬，一定会得到噶玛巴的加持， 方三圣的加持，得到十方三世诸佛菩 的加持和龙天护法的护佑。
“噶玛巴钦诺”具有所有佛号、 尊的咒语的功德，是脱离苦海，走向 脱的钥匙。念阿弥陀佛圣号、观音菩 萨的六字大明咒、金刚手菩萨心咒、 花生大师心咒、药师佛心咒、文殊菩 心咒、普巴金刚心咒、财神菩萨心咒 、妙音天女心咒、金刚手菩萨咒等一 的咒语，都包含在“噶玛巴钦诺”的 号里，念“噶玛巴钦诺”是非常非常 重要的。有些不懂的人，说念噶玛巴 诺是白教的事。实际上宁玛、噶举、 迦、格鲁、苯波的密修者，都持念“ 噶玛巴钦诺”！
噶玛巴是我们当今世代的精神导 。持念这一圣号的时候，我们要把噶 巴当成我们过去的父母、今生的父母 、未来的父母，他是我们唯一的精神 怙。我们要依止他，悲切呼求他，祈 他拯救我们的那在苦海中沉浮了无量 劫，并且还将历尽无边痛苦的灵魂出 六道轮回！

Guru Rinpoche of Medicine, is a form of Guru Rinpoche manifesting as a Buddha of Medicine.

Orgyen Menla ཨོ་རྒྱན་ སྨན་བླ་
This unique thangka painting of Orgyen Menla measuring 20.5" x 29" inches, took a month and half to complete and was painted at the Lumbini gallery in Nepal. It vividly shows Guru Rinpoche in his ultimate healing Medicine Buddha form with his special skin color of Bendurya or Vaiḍūryaprabharājāya (Vaiḍūrya) blue. When one meditates on this thangka one is fortified that the Guru and Medicine Buddha are combined and inseparable as one.
Ogyen Menla is the Buddha of Wisdom, Longevity, Medicine and so on. Hence he is the combined essence of all the Buddhas. Therefore, whosoever with great conviction and faith recites this prayer will be freed from the miseries brought on by diseases, evil spirits in this life. If we skillfully supplicate Guru Rinpoche, in future lives we will be born in the Glorious Lotus Light Copper Colored Mountain paradise (Tibetan: Zang-Dog Pal-Ri), the pure realm of Guru Rinpoche. Such are the manifold benefits of reciting this prayer.
Ogyen Menla - The Healing Guru of Oḍḍiyāna, Tibetan: Orgyen ཨུ་རྒྱན་, is Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava appearing in the aspect of Bhaiṣajyaguru, Tibetan: Sangyé Menla, English: Medicine Buddha. Thus, the practice of Ogyen Menla combines the blessings of Guru Rinpoche and Medicine Buddha to accomplish the healing of body, mind and emotions. The practice of Ogyen Menla is particularly effective for pacifying epidemics, other sicknesses, suffering and negative influences. It is also beneficial for longevity and wisdom. The destructive forces of the imbalance of four elements are overcome by accomplishing Ogyen Menla. This is possible because Medicine Buddha (Healing Buddha) is no different from Guru, and Guru is no different from the primordial purity and perfection of one's own awareness. All internal, external and secret obstacles and diseases are the results of one's own confused state of existence. Praying, meditating and reciting the mantra of Ogyen Menla not only cure diseases and suffering at a relative level, but also lead to the realization of ultimate wisdom. Thus we can completely go beyond suffering.
Ogyen Menla as a meditational-deity is revealed only in the later termas (later revelations of treasure teachings) such as Chokling Tersar and Dudjom Tersar. Thus, the revelation is fresh and relatively free from Samaya, Tibetan: དམ་ཚིག impairments that come about over time. This makes it all the more effective and powerful in practice.
The Orgyen Menla empowerment from Chokling Tersar is the treasure cycle revealed by great terton Chokyur Lingpa in 19th Century. Within this cycle, Ogyen Menla is revealed as part of Sampa Lhundrupma, Tibetan: བསམ་པ་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ , The Prayer to Guru Rinpoche That Spontaneously Fulfills All Wishes.
Sampa Lhundrup was originally taught by Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava himself in 8th Century and then hidden as a treasure to be revealed when time is ripe. In Sampa Lhundrup, Guru Rinpoche appears in thirteen different emanations. In addition to Ogyen Menla, there are emanations for averting natural disasters (caused by imbalances of external elements), war and strife, hostilities on the pathways, etc. There are also emanations for enhancing prosperity and general wellbeing.
Revelation of the Terma:
The Lama Orgyen Menla practice is part of the Tsokye Tuktik terma cycle of Dudjom Rinpoche, which is the lama practice of the Three Roots of the Dudjom Tersar lineage, Orgyen Menla is the outer aspect of Guru Tsokyé Dorje. was revealed as a gongter in 1929, in Tibet. The practice was written later by Dudjom Rinpoche, while he was in Lhasa, as is said in the colophon of the text:
I, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje, wrote this down as it occurred to me during the auspicious time of the thirteenth day of the seventh month, on the eastern side of the Rasa Trulnang [Jokhang] temple in Lhasa, in the immeasurable palace of Napö, Lovely to Behold.
The Purpose:
As written by Dudjom Rinpoche in the colophon of the practice, its purpose is “to clear away all temporary and long term deterioration that comes about through the disturbance of the elements and so forth of oneself and others”.
According to Dungse Garab Rinpoche, and in accordance with the text of the practice:
Our destructible illusory human body is subject to temporary and long term deterioration that comes about due to the disturbance of elements. Sickness and obstacles will arise, threatening us with unbearable suffering and untimely death. Before and at the time of the arising of illnesses we can always supplicate to Orgyen Menla, The King of Medicine, with strong faith. By being inseparable with Orgyen Menla, the sickness obstacles and suffering will definitely be removed so our life will not be exhausted.
According to Shenphen Dawa Rinpoche:
”This practice focuses on the healing qualities of the Buddha’s luminous wisdom mind with the aim of curing all disease, including the very sources of suffering, for all parent sentient beings”.
Propagation:
The Orgyen Menla Dütsi Bum Zang practice is either done as a daily practice, or within a drupchen, where treasure vases can be consecrated, and mendrup produced.
The practice is also often accumulated in order to support long life for masters, in combination with their long life prayer and Seven Line Prayer recitations and accumulations.
In the Dudjom Tersar lineage, Orgyen Menla is the outer form of the Lama, and the practice is called Orgyen Menla Dütsi Bum Zang, "The Excellent Vase of Nectar, The Ritual of Offering and Invoking the Wisdom Mind of the Orgyan Medicine Lama”.
A Short Practice On Orgyen Menla
If you have both Medicine Buddha and Guru Rinpoche empowerments, you may do the following prayer and mantra.
Prayer to Orgyen Menla
SEMCHEN GYU LU JIK PE NE JUNG TSE
When sickness strikes, to destroy the fragile bodies of sentient beings
MI ZO DUK NGEL NE KYI NYEN PA NA
And diseases plunge us into unbearable suffering and agony,
YI NYI TE TSOM ME PAR SOL WA DEB
Without the slightest doubt or hesitation we pray:
ORGYEN MEN GYI LA DANG YER ME PE
Guru Rinpoche, embodiment of the Buddha of Medicine,
TSE ZE MA YIN BARCHE NGE PAR SEL
You will remove all obstacles that cause untimely death!
